Abstract
From time to time the biologist is designated by judicial authorities to perform expert consulting. In the small courts of law this activity is marginal compared the load of work of the biologist. But the level of competence and quality of the expert must be flawless. To meet these requirements of the justice administration we have produced a folder of good conduct policy and documents. The aim is to master this activity and to optimise judicial procedure. Actually the role of the expert is more and more complex and diversified according to the development of the law. This evolution has been particularly fast for the last twenty years. The aim of this folder is also to formalize a very long time of juridical practice in order to transmit this experience to our future young colleagues.
