Abstract
The authors report a prospective study realised in three Abidjan university biochemistry laboratories, in order to determine the metrology quality management of environment conditions and technical equipments. At the close of this study, they note a conformity rate of 67% for environment conditions and 42,77% for technical equipments which are inappropriate compared to the 80% conformity rate expected from the adopted quality reference. These results reveal important inadequacies in the primary metrology practices in a position to guarantee a reliable final product, and therefore emphasizing the interest of setting up an effective laboratory technical equipments control strategy within the framework of quality assurance process.
