Abstract
Infected arterial aneurysm or pseudoaneurysm caused by Burkholderia pseudomallei is very rare; a review of the literature reveals only five previously reported cases. We report the first case of melioidosis infection of a previous femoropopliteal bypass graft complicated by paraanastomotic pseudoaneurysm of the femoral artery successfully treated by surgical removal of the old graft and creation of a new, extraanatomic, external iliac-to-popliteal bypass graft.
