Abstract
- Reduced conch density was found in the study area when compared to 2013 results.
- Adult conch density found was below the minimum required for successful reproduction.
- Protection level had a negative significant effect on the conch abundance found.
- The Tobago Cays Marine Park could have cushioned overall conch decline over time.
- Conch abundance might be high in other grounds outside the study area.
