Abstract
In total, throughout the study area, we identified a potential thermal power capacity of â¼6100 MWt per for a 30-year production period. Reservoir depths ranged from about 2500â¯m to over 5000â¯m. Formation temperatures ranged from â¼60â¯Â°C to over 150â¯Â°C. The calculated thermal power capacity equates to â¼1150 MWe of potential electrical power capacity over the 30â¯year production period, of which â¼ 800 MWe are considered high grade (>120â¯Â°C) resources that may reliably produce electricity with existing technology.
