- Discontinuation of lenalidomide improved the patient's cognitive and motor symptoms.
- Three months after discontinuing lenalidomide, she presented with akinetic mutism.
- Diagnosis of sporadic Creutzfeld-Jakob disease was confirmed postmortem.
- Lenalidomide could worsen previous subclinical Creutzfeld-Jakob disease.
