Abstract
Conclusions: Ultraviolet radiation has a bactericidal effect on Staphylococcus aureus, even after exposure for 5 minutes. Therefore, ultraviolet radiation could be used to control the airborne transmission of Staphylococcus aureus in treatment areas such as dental clinics.
