Abstract
Regarding its central roles of in chronic inflammation, direct targeting NF-κB may potentially mitigate wear particle induced peri-prosthetic osteolysis. Comparably, targeting the cytokine individually may be less efficient due to the compensated roles of other activated cytokines & chemokines.
