Abstract
Doxorubicin-loaded Laponite®/alginate (LP/Dox/AG) nanohybrids are endocytosed by CAL-72 cells and intracellularly release doxorubicin with a high efficiency. The presence of Laponite® overcomes drug resistance probably by circumventing Dox-trapping in endo-lysosomal vesicles.
