Abstract
Primary immunodeficiencies (PID) lead to recurrent and/or severe infections in children and adults. They may play a unique role of 'indicating' disease, as they do not affect immuno-competent people. Patients who underwent such an infection have an urgent indication to be examined towards PID. In case of detecting any abnormalities, suggesting congenital disease of immune system, they need further advanced diagnostics and treatment to protect them against other infectious complications.
