Abstract
The most common type of headache in hospitalized children was tension type headache. Secondary headaches were somewhat less frequent, and their most common cause was sinusitis. The most significant methods of distinguishing between different types of headache in children, according to the current classification, were a detailed analysis of the patient's medical history (subjective test) and a physical examination.
