Abstract
Topical therapy of superficial vascular tumors by application of nonselective β-blockers may be an alternative to systemic therapy. Some vascular tumors are intractable for nonselective β-blockers therapy or grow back once the treatment is ceased. Hemangiomans treatment with nonselective β-blockers, having no contraindications, should be started immediately after establishing the diagnosis, regardless of the child's age.
