Abstract
Doctor Tadeusz Å»eleÅski was the biggest francophil among polish doctors and the best pediatrician among polish poets and writers. He chose medical studies by mistake. 'The doctor in spite of himself' - as he said about his professional life. As a young doctor he visited Paris and fall in love with French language and literary. Medicine faded into the background. Using an English pseudonym 'Boy' he translated into Polish over 100 masterpieces of French literary. He was a talented demon of work. It's said that his translations were often better than original text. Precisely 70 years ago, 4 july 1941, Boy-Å»eleÅski was murdered by Nazi together with other 22 Polish professors and members of their families.
