Abstract
The paper presents the influence of OPG-RANKL-TRAIL imbalance on bone homeostasis in juvenile idiopathic arthritis. Based on current literature the relationship between OPG-RANKL system and inflammatory process was presented. Analysis of the level of RANKL, OPG and OPG/RANKL ratio may help to reveal early bone mineral disorders and help in monitoring the disease activity and treatment efficacy.
