Abstract
Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy is a disease with muscle weakness and sensory disorder. The nerve injury is believed to be due to autoimmune process. Symptoms usually develop gradually and can follow a relapsing-remitting or a progressive course. Apart from the classic form, a number of variants of the entity have been described with heterogeneous clinical manifestation. In this article we present a case of pure motor chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy. Possible methods of treatment and the therapy used in this case have been described.
