Abstract
The article presents an issue of legal protection of a doctor in case of aggressive behaviour of patients or people looking after them. There have been shown possibilities of claiming the protection in penal and civil processes. In the range of criminal liability, there have been pointed out crimes for which symptoms may exhaust the acts of aggression. In the range of civil liability, there have been shown issues of doctor's personal property protection and compensation responsibility.
