Abstract
The case of 10 months old male infant with terminal deletion of the short arm of chromosome 8 in the region 8p23.1 and congenital heart defect associated with right diaphragm relaxation is reported. Diagnostics of recurrent respiratory problems observed since neonatal period as well as surgical single-stage treatment is detailed and discussed.
