Abstract
We present 12-year-old girl with meningoencephalitis of Streptococcus pyogenes etiology. On day 1st, head computed tomography showed sinusitis requiring surgical intervention. Despite adequate therapy, on day 10th, global aphasia was observed. Antibiotic therapy was discontinued after 3 months treatment. However, the patient attends follow up neurology and speech language therapy out-patient clinics due to persisting aphasia. She takes therapy to improve brain circulation.
