Abstract
In this paper a current state of the knowledge about clinical effects of pneumococcal conjugate vaccines (PCV7, PCV10 and PCV13) in scheme 2+1 and postlicensure data for the PCV7 vaccine was summed up. Described post licensure examinations are indicating a very good effectiveness of the 2+1 vaccination schedule for PCV7 and good immunogenicity of PCV10 and PCV13 in the same scheme. For both these new vaccines however we don't have till now any post licensure examinations which would demonstrate like clinical immunogenicity in practice is translating into the effectiveness in real live. We good now from earlier investigations that for different stereotypes and pneumococcal diseases protective concentrations of antibodies aren't the same.
