Abstract
Pancreatic insufficiency is characterized by absorption and digestion disorders which can lead to severe malnutrition. Proper diet, pancreatic enzymes supplementation and tratment with fat-soluble vitamins can prevent malabsorption and increase the chance of patient in fight with the disease. The aim of this review is to present basic methods of prevention and treatment of malabsorption disorders in chronic pancreatic diseases in children.
