Abstract

In this paper, a foresight model for detecting key areas in the Information Technology (IT) industry is proposed. This model aims at being a useful tool to assist firms, policy makers, and researchers whose IT assessment is in the long term. As a methodological support of the foresight model, group communication techniques are mixed with multicriteria methods. This paper analyzes an application of the proposed model to a technology foresight process.
