Abstract
What is the meaning of this gift of a “part of each one”, which is blood and sperm donation? By contrasting Western and Eastern visions, we will see if it is possible to identify a medical anthropology of this transmission of a very symbolic part of the human body, halfway between sacrality and trans-generational survival, a bio-power (in the Foucault vision) of sperm and blood.
