Abstract
⺠We combined SAM-based cell transfer and hydrogel photopatterning techniques. ⺠We identified two SAM desorption mechanisms: photoinduced and electrically triggered. ⺠Cell transfer was efficient and preserved cell viability and monolayer features. ⺠Vascular-like constructs lined with an endothelial cell monolayer were generated. ⺠Double-layered constructs were photopatterned for mimicking arterioles organization.
