Abstract
⺠Gene expressions tend to be extensively up-regulated in most cancers. ⺠Traditional normalizations regardless of the biological groups might be misleading. ⺠Results show these normalizations produce many down-regulated DE genes. ⺠Missing many truly up-regulated DE genes in cancers.
