Abstract
⺠Poly(Ï-hydroxy fatty acids) are polyethylene-like biobased polyester. ⺠Medium-chain-length polyhydroxyalkanoate homopolymers are processed to stretchy film. ⺠Microbial lactate-based polyesters exhibit transparent and flexible properties. ⺠Enzyme and metabolic engineering facilitates the expanding of bio-based polymers.
