Abstract
⺠Alternative protein scaffolds in biotherapy and molecular imaging. ⺠Protein scaffolds have unique properties compared to antibodies. ⺠Non-Ig based protein scaffolds show promise in clinical development. ⺠Small protein scaffolds are superior to monoclonal antibodies for molecular imaging. ⺠Approaches for extending in vivo half-life of protein scaffolds are available.
