Abstract
⺠Endo-1, 4-β-xylanase A, XynA, from Shizophyllum commune was cloned and functionally expressed. ⺠XynA have high degradation activity to unsubstituted xylan backbone. ⺠XynA effectively degraded approximately 45% of unsubstituent xylan of the wood biomass poplar stem by TEM observation.
