Abstract
- Fab fragments were gradually immobilized on aldehyde/chelate activated agarose.
- The new protocol improved the spatial distribution of immobilized Fabs.
- High Fab loads and antigen binding were achieved in the structure of the support.
- The strategy also favoured Fab functional orientation on the support.
- Immune conjugates were successfully tested with C. perfringens É-toxin.
