- Laccase production of Pleurotus ferulae was enhanced by the co-cultured with Rhodotorula mucilaginosa.
- Optimization of the co-culture inoculation conditions improved laccase production.
- The rough surface of P. ferulae mycelia became relative smooth in the co-culture.
