Abstract
⺠Comparison of enzymatic deinking of various types of waste papers have been performed. ⺠Highest deinking efficiency was obtained by laser-printed paper but the lowest was obtained by newspaper. ⺠The result indicated enzymatic deinking improve pulp drainage rate for all waste papers used. ⺠Enzyme hydrolysis can improve as well as detrimental to the mechanical properties of deinked paper.
