Abstract
⺠Performance of the drinking water BAC filtration system was investigated. ⺠Changes of biomass density and microbial community structure were identified. ⺠Biomass concentration decreased with contact time. ⺠Contact time and service time could affect the microbial community structure. ⺠Alphaproteobacteria was the largest bacterial group in the BAC filters.
