Abstract
► Lipase from P. expansum (PEL) can be immobilized as CLEAs from fermentation broth. ► PEL-CLEAs are both active and stable in aqueous, organic and ionic liquid media. ► PEL-CLEAs can catalyze biodiesel production from corn and microalgal oils in ILs.
