Abstract
⺠STZ-damaged the pancreatic β-cells by over production of ROS. ⺠Excessive production of ROS decreases the insulin secretion. ⺠Due to insufficiency of insulin and over production of ROS affecting vital organs. ⺠20-OH ecdysone administration inhibits oxidative stress by hypoglycemic potential. ⺠The effect produced by 20-OH ecdysone was comparable to that of glibenclamide.
