Abstract
												⺠Tartary buckwheat is a highly nutritious crop that contains an excellent dietary source of phenolic compounds. ⺠Rice-tartary buckwheat is a type of tartary buckwheat with a non-adhering hull trait. ⺠Higher transcription levels of flavonoid biosynthetic genes were detected in the matured seed of rice-tartary buckwheat. ⺠Flavonoid compounds found in the different organs of common tartary buckwheat and rice-tartary buckwheat.
