Abstract
⺠A new approach for extracellular recombinant α-amylase production in E. coli. ⺠Secretion of α-amylase triggered by fusion to the signal peptide of DsbA protein. ⺠The recombinant α-amylase 8-11% more efficient in diverse raw starches hydrolysis. ⺠Recombinant and commercial enzyme comparable in raw starch hydrolysis efficiency.
