Abstract
⺠Lipase/esterase-catalyzed polycondensation reaction was systematically reviewed. ⺠Two types of reaction, namely esterification and transesterification polycondensation, were introduced. ⺠The concurrent combination of ring-opening polymerization and polycondensation was also discussed. ⺠Lipase/esterase-catalyzed polycondensation provides a powerful tool for realizing the green and sustainable polymer synthesis.
