Abstract
⺠We report a laccase from genus Abortiporus for the first time. ⺠We evaluate its physical, chemical, and bioactive properties. ⺠It manifests sequence similarity with Polyporaceae laccases, but different from others. ⺠It shows unique properties different from Polyporaceae laccases. ⺠It possesses inhibitory activity toward tumor cell and HIV-1 RT.
