Abstract
⺠We examine the feasibility of using waste blast furnace dust (BFD). ⺠BFD dechlorinates tetrachloroethylene (PCE) to ethylene. ⺠BFD degrade a broad range of chlorinated organic compounds and endocrine disrupting compounds. ⺠Insolubilization of Zn eluted from BFD by a solution of highly enriched bacteria.
