Abstract
⺠The extraction of tetracycline from a fermentation broth is evaluated. ⺠Aqueous two-phase systems composed of cholinium-based salts and a polymer are used. ⺠The recovery efficiencies from the fermented broth are higher than 80%. ⺠The studied systems are a viable platform for biopharmaceutical companies.
