Abstract
⺠Lectin from crude extract of small black kidney bean was extracted. ⺠The bioprocess was easy to perform using AOT in isooctane reversed micelles. ⺠The maximum protein recovery (53.28%) and purification factor (8.2-fold) were obtained. ⺠The efficiency of the process was confirmed by gel electrophoresis analysis. ⺠The lectin could be pre-purification by one step, with a low investment in equipment.
