Abstract
⺠Lipase/esterase-catalyzed ring-opening polymerization was systematically reviewed. ⺠Three components, namely biocatalysts, reaction medium and monomers were introduced. ⺠In this review, we conclude that lipase/esterase-catalyzed ring-opening polymerization is an effective platform for conducting “green polymer chemistry”.
