Abstract
⺠Immobilization of sucrose phosphorylase enables its use at high temperatures. ⺠Heat-purification of the enzyme lowers the cost for industrial applications. ⺠The substrate sucrose stabilizes the biocatalyst in a packed-bed reactor. ⺠Glucose-1-phosphate is produced continuously at 60 °C with a high space-time yield. ⺠The product is efficiently purified and crystallized.
