Abstract
► Endo-xylanase of Bacillus halodurans was immobilized onto anionic exchange resin. ► Immobilized endo-xylanase was used for the production of xylooligosaccharides (XOS). ► Alkaline-extracted corncob xylan was used as the substrate for making XOS. ► The combined use of free and immobilized endo-xylanase enhanced the conversion.
