Abstract
► The EtOAc fraction was the most potent antioxidant. ► This extract had lipid peroxidation, and tyrosinase inhibitory effects. ► The total phenolic content positively correlated with antioxidant activity. ► Gallic acid, chlorogenic acid, and quercetin were identified in the fractions. ► Quercetin was antioxidant responsive, and correlated with total phenolic content. ► The EtOAc fraction was non-cytotoxic to Vero cells.
