Abstract
⺠Isolation of a novel psychrophilic α-amylase producing bacterium, Aeromonas veronii NS07. ⺠The enzyme is being resistant to low temperatures, detergents, chelators and surfactants. ⺠Analysis of the N-terminal amino acid sequence indicating that the enzyme was novel. ⺠Cold active enzyme seems to be suitable as biocatalyst for practical use in detergent industries.
