Abstract
⺠The gene of SCO7467 from Streptomyces coelicolor A3(2) was expressed in Escherichia coli. ⺠The recombinant protein was purified from E. coli. ⺠The enzyme was characterized as a 5-dimethylallyl tryptophan synthase by LC-MS and NMR analysis.
