Abstract
ⶠThe genomes of organisms exploited for biocatalysis are revealing families of enzymes that contribute to whole-cell activity. ⶠFunctional analysis of these intragenomic complements reveals complementary activities. ⶠIntagenomic complements of ketoreductases, Baeyer-Villiger monooxygenases and hydrolases reveal diverse catalytic behaviour including substrate spectrum, enantioselectivity and thermostability.
