Abstract
â¶ Both the conformation and transesterification activity of CALB solubilized in ILs like [C2OHMIM][BF4] and [C2OHMIM][NO3] are buffer dependent. â¶ CALB possesses a more compact conformation in buffered [C2OHMIM][BF4] or [C2OHMIM][NO3], resulting in the enhancement of transesterification activity with highly stability during recycles. â¶ The knowledge gained in this study may be applicable to homogeneous enzymatic catalysis in organic solvents with hydroxyl group.
