Abstract
▶ Thermomyces lanuginosus lipase (TLL) immobilized by multipoint covalent attachment on glyoxyl-resin allowed obtaining derivatives with the highest hydrolytic activity (olive oil emulsion hydrolysis) and thermal stability. ▶ Lipase from Pseudomonas fluorescens (PFL) showed to be more active in ester synthesis than olive oil emulsion hydrolysis. ▶ Immobilized lipases on resin activated with glutaraldehyde undergo strong distortion of the enzyme three-dimensional structure. ▶ Highest conversion into biodiesel was found in the transesterification of palm oil catalyzed by both TLL and PFL glyoxyl-derivatives.
