Abstract
A Ta2O5-Pt nanostructure electrode was fabricated by means of cosputtering deposition method. Worm-like Pt nanoparticles were produced in Ta2O5 matrix as observed by transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). The electrochemical and electrochromic properties of nanoworm-shaped Ta2O5-Pt electrode are compared with those of Ta2O5 thin-film electrode without Pt nanoparticles.
